I saw the debate, I saw him falter in trying to respond to a torrent of lies & bombast. I also searched for and read the transcript as soon as it was available, and if it weren’t for the optics, it made sense and covered the issues—no lies by Biden that I could ascertain. If the pundits acknowledged the “poor delivery” or “off day” and then covered what he SAID instead of running all kinds of “what if” scenarios, we would have been better off and calmer as a result. You are most correct. But it is sensationalism that makes the media the most money and they will squeeze that for all it's worth. They don't care who is running for president. It's all about how much money they can make right now, today. Clickbait is the moneymaking new enterprise for the mainstream media now. Nothing else matters, not even the truth. The truth only matters if it makes a lot of money.
Agree & that’s how we got TFFFG in the first place…if MSM had covered him honestly w/ investigative journalism and facts, we might not be in the middle of this mess. As the old saying goes “if it bleeds, it ledes” (“lede” being a journalistic term).
