The closest I can come to any “religion” is “may the Force be with you”. I was, IMHO, fortunate to be raised in a three-generation-secular family (now going on 5 gens deep), so nothing to distance myself from, tho I’m all for folks following their own path/choices. Just yesterday for the first time since Covid abated, I was visited by a new pair of proselytizing folks knocking on my door. I’ve always had, as I did today, a pleasant conversation whilst stating clearly my stance. Instead of a WatchTower pamphlet, I was given a business card with a url to check out—something new, so not sure if they’re the same outfit or not. I asked them if they knew about Project 2025 & they did not; I suggested they look into it and, if they believed in choices as they’d indicated, they might want to push back against it with their votes. Worth a try!!!

Thanks for Sharing Barbara, I wasn't raised religiously, though Mom (a single mom) sent us to the nearest church, because they gave food baskets at Xmas and Thanksgiving to the poor members of the church,. However I read the Bible cover to cover at age 12, and without an adult telling me what this or that was suppose to mean, and because I had read books like the Odyssey by Homer at age 8, I realized that the whole thing as a giant, and horrible fable, the incest, murder, genocide ordered by a god, who evidently was not able to kill himself, but needed help from mortal men, was a little too much.

BTW COVID has not abated. My wife and I have had 7 vaccinations with Moderna, she went on a trip to visit her family and picked up a gift in the airport.. COVID. this is day 5, and I am doing well, at least we haven't had those awful respiratory problems. Thanks to the shots, basically we were dealing with a flu. Will self test this afternoon, I have to go to the market, so let's hope.
