There is a window of a couple of issues that may remain in the DC case. Chukan has to hold suppression hearings, but it is possible that the interference with the electoral college counts may remain.
IMHO Garland has made seral tactical miscalculations. IMHO charged Trump with the wrong statutes. I would have prosecuted the henchmen first and brought cases against Citizen Trump -- when immunity does not apply. He left the presidency Jan 21, 2021.
The statute of limitations has not run on insurrection. 18 USC §2383. Rebellion or insurrection. Probably 5 years.
Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.
To this day, Citizen Trump is giving aid and comfort to insurrectionists who have been convicted.
I don't know about anyone else, but this motivates me to do MORE, donate more of my time and money.
Under this opinion, Biden should order Garland to immediately charge Trump under 18 USC section 2383 for "Rebellion or Insurrection". Biden has immunity!
Garland didn't miscalculate anything. What he has done, and more importantly not done, has been on purpose.

Garland had worked for the Federalist Society as a moderator, That sets off alarm bells.
He did not even appoint a special counsel into shamed into it by his peers and the public. He drug his heels on that for almost two years, letting the statute of lmitations slip past.
Liz Cheney who is lionzed by the likes of Rachel Maddow, ran interference for the traitors in Congress by keeping the focus on Trump, Meanwhile Garland has done nothing about the traitors in congress be they Hawley, Jordan, Boebert, Biggs, and with the exception of the most obvious and egregious offenders the rest of the traitors got off with a slap on the wrist.
Then he couldn't wait to appoint a Trump appointee (recofirmed by Biden) , who jumped up and shouted "send me in coach" to prosecute Hunter Biden and change the bright shiny object from Trump and his crime family, to Joe and his family.
But I bleme Biden for his troubles (and ours) by bringing the Fox into the Hen house , he and his naive bipartisanship nonsense. That is the problem with the beltway, they are all out of touch with reailty.
