Combine yesterday's Report with this one and it's hair on-fire time. This reminds me of the situation where someone goes to the police concerning threatening actions made toward them. But, the authorities determine that person will have to actually be injured before they can stop the perpetrator. I think I’m just getting edgy, but two things:

Today on Thom’s show, I would hear folks mention ways to scare Sinema with threats of not being reelected when Sinema has little interest in being reelected after her initial years in the Senate. She is there to handshake with the billionaires while in office (why do you think she ignores her constituents?) while working her way into more prosperous opportunities in lobbying, etc.

Secondly, I understand that it’s good to try to be positive during these times by saying that our hope of getting voting rights in this country hinges on getting out there in droves and voting ourselves, but even if the results are 80% Dem winning, none of these people who are being put in place are going to recognize those outcomes - plus, I often hear from people who say that they’re tired of hearing that each election is a “life or death” election and wonder if it’s something overblown. I don’t think that, but some do.

Isn’t there a Rethuglican in Florida(?) right now suing after he lost by 60 points in a heavily Dem area?
